Welcome message

On behalf of the 4th International Conference on Japan-Bangladesh Research and Practice (JBRP) 2025 Program Committee, I would like to welcome you all to Kawasaki City in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.  Kawasaki is one of the main cities of the Greater Tokyo Area and Keihin Industrial Area in Japan. The organizing committee has put together a program that is impressive with four multidisciplinary domains (namely, 1. Natural and Agricultural Science Business, 2. Engineering and ICT, 3. Medicine, Pharmaceuticals, and Public Health, 4. Business, Humanities, and Social Science) mostly from Bangladeshi (origin) researchers working in Japan. Apart from a welcome dinner, the committee also puts together an insightful keynote, a tutorial session, a panel discussion , and the best presentation award during the two days conference (13-14 December 2025).

It is worth mentioning that JBRP is a flagship event organized by the Network of Bangladesh Researchers in Japan (NBRJ). NBRJ aims to bring together Bangladeshi (origin) researchers working at different universities, research organizations, industries, and corporate sectors across Japan. JBRP provides a platform for researchers across different scientific fields to share their achievements for creating multidisciplinary research collaboration opportunities and learning from each other, and make a bridge to achieve NBRJ’s vision to be the leading research and policy advocacy group in Japan with interdisciplinary skills dedicated to inform and leverage the development of Bangladesh through promoting Japan-Bangladesh scientific and development cooperation, intellectual engagement, and policy advocacy.

We are very thankful to the participants, session organizers, technical committee co-chairs, organizing committee co-chairs, and track chairs.

Finally, I would like to thank Kanagawa University of Human Services for hosting the conference.

Mohammad Abdul Malek, Miyazaki International University

General Chair of JBRP2025
