In 2021, Bangladesh has marked 50 years of independence. Commemorating this glorious landmark, NBRJ (Network of Bangladeshi Researchers in Japan) will organize a workshop titled “Multidisciplinary Research Workshop at 50 Years of Bangladesh,” held on August 11-12, 2022 at Tokyo International Forum. The workshop aims at sharing the research achievements of NBRJ members to provide a common platform for future multidisciplinary research collaboration and intellectual stimulation.

• A number of panel sessions will be organized:
  • Long-term career in Japan for Bangladeshi Young Researchers
  • Bangladesh at 50 Years: Reflections of Bangladeshi Researchers
• H.E. Mr. Shahabuddin Ahmed, The Ambassador of Bangladesh to Japan will be presenting at the concluding session.

NBRJ was commenced in 2020 by the collaborative efforts of Bangladeshi-origin researchers working at different universities, research organizations, industries, and corporate sectors across Japan. Since then, NBRJ has been striving to promote communication and create values among its members through organizing various online seminars and events.
